Who Are Julip Horses?

An inspired sculptress made the first Julip model in 1945. They were first made in chamois leather then later in the 60's in latex with bendy legs. Over the years virtually every breed and colour of horse has been made into a Julip model. There have even been cowboys, indians, gypsy caravans, donkey and haycarts. The models are 1/12th scale, the most common scale for doll's houses. For years we have tried to bring you the perfect horse yard in miniature, in fact the company slogan used to be 'a riding stable on your table'!
