This is a unique opportunity for all Julip collectors to gather together under one roof! A weekend of fun with a live show, meet the artists, see the Julip antique collections, paint your own Julip, free entry, refreshments and buffet lunch, visit the workshops etc. etc. etc. The show is held over 2 days, at the Savill Memorial Hall, Cattistock, Dorset. The Saturday is for Paint your Own, setting up and viewing the displays and the Sunday is the Show, with complimentary lunch. August 2010 dates coming soon!

On Sunday 23rd August 2009 we attended the Buckham Fair outside Beaminster, kindly hosted by Martin and Philippa Clunes in aid of Julia's House, the Dorset Children's hospice. It was a fantastic day out with various showing classes, fun pony classes, show jumping and gymkhana. Also there was a very popular dog show, bucking bronco, food stalls, a fantastic funfair (amazing views across the downs from the Big Wheel), pony rides, terrier racing and lots more. A highly recommended day out NOT to be missed next year!

The Shipton Riding Club Open Summer Show is held on every August at the Mosterton Showground, Dorset DT8 3SU. There are 10 rings of showing, show jumping, dressage TREC, in hand, gymkhana and a dog show as well as Food Stalls and Trade Stands. This is held at the NEC Birmingham every October and is a very popular show. There is the main arena where the showjumping, pony club games and special displays and championships are held and the Caldene Arena where hundreds of top level showing classes are held. Go shopping in the trade stand hall where hundreds of retailers have stands.
