70s foal, definitely. I ordered one three days after the mould became useless and could never get one _________________

I kind of like the way moulds pass through, like, they're more special when they're no longer available. I think my Lippi and jumping pone are more treasured to me because of that. So much as I love some old moulds, I don't think I'd want any brought back, though some utterly new moulds would be great. I also think Julip's sculpting style has changed considerably, so some old moulds (that little foal with its head down, for instance) really wouldn't fit with the current range, and I think they're nicer as vintage examples?
Sorry if that makes sense, running on not much sleep or food and too stressed to sleep. _________________

I think I agree with Pip they are special because they also represent a moment in time that is past. Some spectacular new moulds would be fantastic. A new heavy horse would be great, as would a new TB and a new pony _________________

I agree, in fact I was little miffed when I heard the donkey was being brought back, as I have two vintage ones. But now I have seen pictures of the new mould donkey, and seen the differences between the old and new mould, I am no longer miffed. In fact, in the future I plan to buy one.
As for whoever put the link to the child's hunter, the first one you see (Corona) is mine _________________ Chimes Stables - my Julip site (still under construction) |
